The benefits of teaching short courses to a tutors accredited UG/PG teaching practice

lightning talk

Abstract

Teaching short courses can help tutors improve their teaching skills for UG/PG classes. Short course turnover is faster, allowing tutors to try new teaching methods and content, with the only restraint being that they follow the course description. They also give early-career tutors or those reducing their workload later in their careers a chance to teach with more flexibility or with more focus in a specific area of interest or research.
