Brief description of session and activities

This session will introduce CLTAD Academic Practice Provision (APP) and workshop programme. Validated qualifications and one-day CPD workshops can be undertaken throughout the academic year, helping teachers or those supporting learning and teaching to embed accessible learning and assessment into their courses.

How will students be involved in the session?

Students will be able to ask questions and receive information on the APP, part of the University’s Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Framework, as well as the workshop programme.

What will participants take away from the session?

An understanding of:

  • The APP and the validated qualifications that can be gained
  • Professional recognition from the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and the Staff and Educational Development Association (SEDA)
  • Teacher development and accreditation policy at UAL
  • Further CPD workshop opportunities
