This talk explores one of LCC’s physical spaces called The Digital Space, which is a specialist open access computer area that has developed over the years to become a hub of teaching & learning activity that blends traditional teaching with digital e-learning as well as learning experiences of engagement between the space and its users.

What is the role of an open access specialist area?
How is teaching & learning being integrated into such spaces?
What is the future for specialist open access areas?
