What do we value and where may we find it? What does ds106 mean to me?

Intending to investigate alternate creative learning spaces for my Academic Practice dissertation, I became aware of ds106, an online course that appeared particularly relevant. This presentation is the story of my attempt to navigate this web-based learning space. Moreover, it is intended to elicit discussion of factors which may be faced by students as they try to acquaint themselves with different environments, including issues of identity, language, learning and teaching tools and creative pedagogic approaches.
