International Development and Education Design at Kaospilot

Simon will talk about the necessity of incessant curiosity and how it drives the kaospilot community (Kaospilot is a Danish hybrid business and design school). The school is a ‘call to adventure’ for young future leaders and much needed change agents, offering them the opportunity to become the best that they can be. Simon will share the ‘learning arch’ methodology for how to visualize courses that invites student engagement and ownership through creating autonomous, risk-taking, team based learning and reflection. This session will invite participants to explore, act and remain curious on a professional and personal level, preparing them to maximize the curiosity of others.

Course Leader BA Fashion Marketing, LCF

To foster inclusive learning spaces the BA (Hons) Fashion Marketing course has deliberately put curiosity about others at the core of the curriculum. This session explores key themes raised by curriculum interventions designed to encourage cross-cultural communication through internationalising the curriculum. Projects are designed to encourage exploration of non-homogenous cultures and by acknowledging the cultural contexts of our discipline and introducing theories from economics and psychology students are asked to question (almost) everything they know!
