What does the term 'Decolonising the Curriculum' mean?
Abstract
The purpose of this presentation is to publish and analyse results of a short research enquiry carried out over a week with staff and students at UAL. These were a half an hour conversational interviews with undergraduate and postgraduate students, technician, BA/MA course and programme leaders, Dean, Deputy Vice Chancellor as well as academic support and library staff. This enquiry provides a rationale of understanding and engaging with the cross-disciplinary term 'decolonising the curriculum' within UAL.
