Alternative learning models for artists: A conversation between alternative art schools, HE and Artquest
This panel discussion brings together a range of professionals with different experiences within Fine Art education and professional development to reflect on the learning needs of artists and the benefits and challenges of alternative art education. The speakers share an interest in collaboration and inclusive practice and will each offer a perspective on the relationship and potential exchange between alternative art schools and HE. The conversation will touch on teaching and learning methodologies of non-institutional spaces and offer an insight into the impact of developing a curriculum without institutional processes, such as, assessment and grading.
