Critical Objects: A study of a short OBL activity in MA Graphic Media Design exploring positionality and co-design
Can a 30 minute object-based learning activity encourage students to self-reflect about their own backgrounds and assumptions? The insights arising from the project Object KnowledgeS suggest that the particular selection of objects and teaching methods offer different opportunities for the design educator to establish essential discussions about positionality in the context of a postgraduate research programme. This project has been developed with/because of/alongside participants of the MA Graphic Media Design (London College of Communication).
