"Now you see it...": Revealing inclusive practices in online spaces

This session is based on the findings of an action research project undertaken as part of PGCert Academic Practice. It will introduce a range of practical strategies to support access and inclusion in online spaces. The session will aim to outline and demonstrate inclusive practices relating to:

• Inclusive pre-session information.
• Setting an inclusive tone.
• Inclusive and accessible resources.
• Supporting participation.
• Anticipating potential barriers.

The session will also signpost to further resources about access and inclusion, such as the Disability Inclusion Toolkit, information about digital accessibility, and UAL’s Teaching Online pages.
