Understanding the impact and potential of video as a teaching and learning material.

Based on a recent original research paper, this visual presentation highlights multiple areas of research around video as a teaching and learning material. Areas that are looked at include learner response to video, key theories around multimedia learning, animation, presenter performance and active learning elements. Challenges of using the medium alongside areas which need further research are also highlighted.
