Language-Art Project: a curatorial collaboration
The annual UAL Language-Art Project brings students together from across the University, to explore the intersection of art and language. Cross-college, cross-disciplinary and open to all students, it culminates in an online gallery which goes live in the early summer. This year there will also be a physical exhibition held at LCC.
This presentation focuses on the staff-student collaboration that is a key component of the project - with (recorded) reflections from the student curators who have been a crucial part of the decision-making. Ultimately, it asks whether projects such as this could form a blueprint for further staff-student initiatives.
