East London pioneer, Piers Roberts launched Designersblock in 1998 and led production of the London Festival of Architecture from 2004-08. Supporting 4000 young designers from 38 countries, these shows, held in large empty buildings, created the blueprint for International Creative Festivals, now common across the world.
