Understanding (the value of) knowledge exchange at University of the Arts London
My contribution shares a one year research project commissioned by UAL to better understand the richness of the knowledge exchange (KE) ecosystem in art and design and value for all actors involved (Salinas, 2019). Firstly, I situate KE as the third mission of universities. Secondly, I provide a multidimensional framework to approach KE interventions in art and design. Finally, I share an example of reflecting on a knowledge exchange project in a postgraduate design classroom and make some tools available.
