Creating a ‘virtuous circle of research’ on the MSc Cosmetic Science

This paper will share the experience of the integrated MSc Cosmetic Science in co-creating publishable research by staff and students. We will explain the skills development strategy and outline various approaches that staff use to inspire students to aim beyond ‘just a good mark’. Our key message is that an aspirational aim, such as the production of publishable research and KE outcomes by students, is achievable. However, it requires a focused, systematic and sustained effort by the course team.
