As lockdown forces students to rethink their traditional practices, replacing studio work with digital technology
2 projects:
1st, MA performance, Shuyi. Stuck in China was taught to scan her costume remotely and then the basics of 3d software to enable animation via motion capture technology that she was able to remotely watch and direct the performance. Completed.
2nd is Amber, 3rd year (3DFX) has produced a digital copy or herself, autopsied for VR and Film and 360. The plan was to create in the studio using traditional casting techniques. Now switched over to purely digital with remote learning on teams.
