Abstract

The LCC Digital Learning Champions from 24/25 worked on developing a fun way to engage students in talking about how they use AI. They came up with 5 personalities. Noob, Creator, Translator, Regurgitator and Sceptic. These provided the bases for a personality quiz. Students answer questions to find out what type of AI user they are. They then get some pros and cons of their personality type and signposted to the AI Student Guidance. The quiz can be used by itself or as part of lesson when talking to students about AI.

Session and activities

Outline of how this student partner co-design project came about and how it has developed over time. An introduction the personalities and how the quiz can be used either on its own or with other activities about AI literacy with Students or Staff. Then take the quiz and find what personality type you are. We have stickers and cards that can also be taken away for future reference. This is a fun way of encouraging and starting the conversation about the critical use of AI.
