Stitch, Reflect & Renew Workhop

workshop

Abstract

“Stitch, Mend, Breathe” positions this as a genuine wellbeing offer not just a craft activity. The framing acknowledges stress openly before offering the release. Grounding the technique in its Japanese heritage adds genuine cultural weight – it’s not just darning, it’s a centuries-old practice with meaning. That context makes the workshop feel richer and worth attending. The intention is being compassionate, kind and aware of how clothing consumption can impact the planet. it’s a framework rooted in care, equity, psychological safety, and recognising the whole person.
